Application
God’s immensity
Should cause us to serve with passion and faithfulness
Should cause us to be humbled to do His will instead of being stubborn and resistant (The story of Stephen (Acts 7: 51-53)
Should cause us to be remorseful in our sins, respectful of God’s words.There are no favors we can do for God, but there are things that God seeks from us (Isaiah 66: 1-4)
Should cause us to wait on Him in times of weakness and discouragement. (Isaiah 40:28-31)
Questions we should ask ourselves
Is our God big enough to cause us to want to please Him in worship?
Is our God big enough to cause us to put off our stubbornness and obey Him?
Is our God big enough to cause us to mourn our sins?
Is our God big enough to cause us to keep every command He gives us?
